The Basics: Signing Up
Getting deals is easy with Honey. Just look for the "Join" button on the top right-hand corner of our site.

You can install Honey here. Or click directly on one of the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Edge.

The Basics: How It Works
Now, the fun part - looking for savings! Once you've installed Honey, you'll see a small "h" when you shop on thousands of your favorite sites.
On Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Edge, we're on the top right corner. If the h is orange, Honey is supported on that shopping site. Any coupons we find for that site will be illuminated in green (and that's a lucky color).
Note: Using Chrome 83 or above and don't see Honey on your toolbar? It may be in the Chrome Extensions icon (puzzle piece icon) in the upper right corner of your toolbar.
On Safari, we're on the left of the toolbar. See those numbers in red? That's how many coupon codes we've found for that particular site.
Honey will also pop up automatically if we find coupons or deals to help you save money. And we’re big fans of community — our members share information about deals, prices, and items which can help everyone save more.

The Basics: Shopping with Honey
One of the best things about Honey is that you don't have to change a thing. Just shop like you normally do and Honey will activate if the store is supported. Our list of stores is always growing. Have a store you want us to add? Keep the suggestions coming here.
Rewards
On top of saving money through coupons, you can also earn rewards points when you make eligible purchases using Honey. Check our Redemption Page to see if rewards are available to earn and redeem in your local currency. Once you've earned enough points, you can redeem them for an e-gift card on the Redemption Page from participating merchants!
Rewards are given on the subtotal of eligible items, not including tax or any additional fees such as shipping.
Just so you know, rewards aren’t offered on every store that Honey supports. If rewards are offered on a shopping site, you'll see it listed in the browser extension:
To enable rewards for a store, click the Activate button.
At checkout, click Apply Coupons when Honey appears and rewards will automatically activate. Honey will then automatically apply coupons we find to your order, giving you a chance to earn rewards and save money at the same time. We call that a win-win.
Rewards transactions post as pending in your Account Overview within 2-14 days of completing your eligible purchase, although this may vary in some instances depending on the purchase and retailer.
Rewards are subject to our Terms of Use and exclusions may apply. In case of conflict between what is stated here and in the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use will prevail.
What about exclusions?
Rewards are only available for eligible items. After you've enabled rewards for a store, check the exclusions list for more information on exclusions that may apply for that site.
Exclusions are determined by the merchant and vary by store. If there are no eligible items in your order, you will not earn any rewards on that purchase. We won't be able to determine if the items you've purchased are eligible until after you make your purchase.
Note: Using another rewards program will likely interfere with Honey. We recommend disabling any other rewards programs and ad blockers, so you don't miss a chance to earn rewards on eligible purchases.

Pending Rewards Points
Rewards points post as pending in your Account Overview within 2-14 days of your purchase, although this may vary in some instances depending on the purchase and retailer.
Rewards points will remain pending for approximately 60-90 days until your purchase is confirmed by the merchant. This time period can vary based on retailer and can be more in some instances. This will occur before we have verified that all items of your purchase are eligible for rewards. If part or all of your purchase is ineligible for rewards points, or if you return all or part of your purchase or receive a refund on it, the amount of rewards points you can earn will be reduced accordingly based on the new subtotal of eligible items. While rewards points appear as pending, they cannot be used or redeemed. You'll be able to see when your rewards are no longer pending and become available to redeem in your Account Overview.
Travel reservations (e.g. purchases made at hotels, car rentals, or other travel sites) earn rewards points on a different timeline. The merchant requires you to complete the reservation before rewards are confirmed or even listed as pending in your account. Even though you have already paid, there's still the possibility that you may cancel or modify your trip.
Once the merchant confirms the purchase (after the return window has ended or in the case of a travel reservation, when the stay is completed), rewards points will be cleared into your account and be available for redemption!
Please reach out to us if you have any questions about pending rewards points.

Can't Login
Are you having issues logging into Honey? There are two main reasons why you may be getting stuck:
1) You have made too many failed attempts.
2) You are receiving a proxy error message.
A proxy error message could be generated by our system because it recognized that you were accessing Honey from a VPN (virtual private network), a proxy "unlocker" service, or a flagged IP address. Our system can't distinguish a person's intention when using a proxy service - due to this, your access to Honey could temporarily be flagged for security reasons.
Instructions for disabling your VPN:
These instructions are intended to be general guidelines and may vary depending on your browser, operating system or VPN software. If you keep running into trouble, we recommend contacting your VPN service for more guidance.
For Mac
For Windows (versions 7, 8, and 10)
Your IP address may have been compromised and used for malicious activities. When that occurs, the IP is flagged and blocked by a lot of external providers. See if your IP address has been flagged for suspicious activity. In this case, there isn't a work-around currently.
Reach out to us if you're unable to get into your Honey account and we'll do our best to help get you back in!
